# Buying a Challenge

> Compare challenge terms, complete checkout, understand payment states, and find the evaluation account after purchase.

## 1. Compare the plan terms

Open the [challenge selector](https://fundingperpetuals.com/#pricing). Select a
plan and account size, then review the complete order summary before checkout.

Pay particular attention to:

* the number of evaluation steps and each step's profit target;
* maximum daily loss and maximum drawdown;
* static or trailing end-of-day drawdown behavior;
* consistency and qualifying-day requirements;
* funded payout terms and purchased profit split;
* challenge fee, discount, optional add-ons, and final total.

Plan values can change. The terms displayed for the selected order are more
reliable than an older screenshot or example.

## 2. Complete checkout

Checkout can request your legal first and last name, billing address, country,
and the fields required by the selected payment method. Card and crypto
options appear only when they are currently available.

You must accept the Terms of Use and Trading Disclaimer before submitting the
payment. Funding Perpetuals does not display or store the payment credentials
entered into the secure provider fields.

## 3. Apply a checkout code

Enter a valid discount or affiliate code before continuing. Wait for the
checkout to confirm the code and updated total. If a code is rejected, remove
or correct it before payment.

  Review the final total after every code, add-on, or payment-method change.

## 4. Read the payment result

| Result                     | What to do                                                                                                                                               |
| -------------------------- | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Payment Approved           | The evaluation account has been added to the dashboard. Open the dashboard and select it in the account switcher.                                        |
| Payment Submitted          | The payment is still processing. Keep the order number and wait for settlement. Do not start another payment for that order.                             |
| Payment Status Unavailable | Check the dashboard and Purchase History before attempting another payment. This prevents an unnecessary duplicate attempt when the result is uncertain. |

The order also appears in
[Purchase History](https://fundingperpetuals.com/settings?section=purchases)
with its current paid, pending, failed, or refunded status.

## 5. Confirm the new account

Open the [dashboard](https://fundingperpetuals.com/dashboard) and choose the
new evaluation account in the account switcher. Confirm its plan, starting
balance, evaluation step, status, and rule card before trading.
