# Notification Settings

> Choose sounds for trading events, control volume and event toggles, and upload, preview, rename, or delete custom audio.

The Notifications tab controls trading audio. Visual fill and order-change
notifications are configured under [Trading settings](/settings/trading).

## Trade Sounds

For each supported event, choose a built-in or custom sound and turn that event
on or off. Use the preview control to hear the current selection before relying
on it during trading.

The master Trade Sound Volume applies across enabled event sounds. Browser tab
audio permissions and device volume still affect what you hear.

  Sound is a convenience, not an execution guarantee. Confirm fills, rejected
  orders, and position state in the trading interface even when no sound plays.

## Sound Library

Upload an accepted audio file to add a custom sound. Give it a recognizable
name, then select it for any event under Trade Sounds.

The library lets you:

* preview a custom sound;
* rename it without changing its audio;
* delete it when it is no longer needed.

An upload must be an audio file and fit within the size limit shown by the app.
If a custom sound is deleted, review any event that previously used it and
choose another sound.
