# Profile Settings

> Update your profile photo and username, connect social accounts, and maintain the legal identity attached to your account.

## Profile photo

Choose a JPG, PNG, or WebP image, adjust the crop and zoom, then save. The
editor validates the image before upload. You can change or remove the saved
photo later.

## Username

Your username is the public-facing identifier used by profile features. Enter
an available value and select **Save**. If the value is unavailable or invalid,
the form keeps the existing username and shows the reason.

Changing a username can change how people recognize or reach a public profile.

## Connected accounts

Connect or disconnect supported Discord and X accounts from the Connected
Accounts card. A connection flow can open the provider and then return to
Funding Perpetuals.

If the provider reports a failure, return to Profile settings and retry. Do not
disconnect an account while another browser tab is still completing the same
provider flow.

## Legal identity

Maintain your legal first and last name, street address, optional apartment or
unit, city, state/province, postal code, and country.

  Use accurate legal information. Identity, agreement, fraud-review, and payout
  workflows may compare account information. A display name or social username
  is not a substitute for legal identity.
