What a failed status means

An evaluation changes to Failed when a rule breach or authorized account decision ends it. The account can no longer place trades, but it remains in the account switcher and history so you can review the result. The dashboard’s Pass Progress card identifies the final failed constraint when that information is available. Common constraints include:
  • maximum daily loss;
  • maximum drawdown;
  • evaluation time limit;
  • inactivity limit;
  • consistency;
  • profit target or another plan-specific pass condition.

Review the account before acting

  1. Select the failed account in the account switcher.
  2. Read the Pass Progress summary and final constraint.
  3. Review the rule card, equity chart, closed trades, and order history around the decision.
  4. Compare the result with the terms attached to that exact account.
Open positions, marked equity, fills, fees, and funding can affect the account state. Use the recorded account data rather than reconstructing the outcome from one order alone.

Start again

Regular funding evaluations do not have a self-service balance reset. To make a new attempt, open the challenge selector, review the currently offered terms, and purchase a new challenge. The new challenge is a separate account. It does not erase or reactivate the failed account.
Competition products can have different reset rules. A competition reset does not apply to a standard funding evaluation.

When to contact support

Contact support if the dashboard does not identify the expected account, if a recorded fill or account value appears incorrect, or if the displayed failed constraint conflicts with the account’s terms. Include the account number, approximate time, market, order identifier when available, and a concise description. Do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, or private keys.
