The Funding Perpetuals Discord bot uses the Discord account connected under Profile settings. It never uses a Discord role as proof of account ownership. Funding Perpetuals resolves the immutable linked Discord ID and checks ownership again for every account read or simulated trade.
The initial rollout is limited to approved Funding Perpetuals test roles. Public chart and flex posts are limited to configured private test channels.

Connect an account

  1. Run /link in the official Funding Perpetuals server or in a direct message with the bot.
  2. If Discord is not connected, open the private Profile Settings link returned by the bot.
  3. Complete the existing Discord connection flow, then run /link again.
  4. If you own several challenge accounts, run /account select and choose the account used by later commands.
/unlink requires private confirmation. Disconnecting removes the same Discord connection shown in Profile settings. It does not affect a Telegram connection or email sign-in.

Review account and position state

  • /account status shows the selected account, balance, marked equity, room above daily-loss and maximum-drawdown floors, profit target, consistency requirement, and minimum trading days.
  • /positions lists open positions for the selected account.
  • /account select changes only the Discord bot’s default account. It does not change the website’s selected account.
Account and trading responses are private in server channels.

Place and manage orders

Run /trade order to open a private order form. Enter the market, side, size, leverage, and margin mode in the labeled fields. Size accepts asset units, USD notional (such as $500), a percentage of available balance (such as 25%), or Forex lots. The Order Setup field starts as a Market order. Add one labeled setting per line to build another order type or attach protection. For example:
The form supports every order family currently offered by the trading terminal and API: Market, Limit, Stop Market, Stop Limit, Take Market, Take Limit, Chase, Conditional, TWAP, VWAP, and Scaled or Ladder orders. Available Order Setup labels are Type, Limit Price, Trigger Price, Take Profit, Stop Loss, End Price, Rungs, Duration Minutes, Slice Seconds, Chase Offset, Trigger Asset, Trigger Direction, Time in Force, GTD Minutes, and Distribution. Attached Take Profit and Stop Loss prices create entry protection. Use /trade exits to atomically replace protection on an open position, including an OCO pair. Use /trade close to close part or all of one position and /trade modify or /trade cancel to manage a working order. The bot converts the entered size to the market’s supported base-size increment before showing the confirmation. Individual changes require a private confirmation by default. Run /settings confirmations to enable auto-confirm for individual changes. Closing an entire position, replacing multiple exit legs, and placing a scaled ladder always require confirmation. The bot submits through the same simulated execution engine as the website and developer API. Market availability, collateral, challenge rules, execution protection, fees, order books, and idempotency checks do not change in Discord.

Share publicly

/flex prompts you to choose an open position from the selected challenge account, then renders a private preview of the same PnL card the website shares. The card uses your saved Funding Perpetuals palette, background, and number style. Select Post Publicly only after reviewing the identity and performance details shown on the card. Auto-confirm never skips this preview. /chart timeframe asset posts a market-only candlestick snapshot. Charts do not include positions, entries, orders, liquidation prices, Take Profit, or Stop Loss overlays.

Configure alerts

Discord alerts are delivered only by direct message. They never fall back to a public channel.
  • /alerts price creates a one-shot asset-price threshold. Enable repeat to re-arm only after price crosses back through a small hysteresis band.
  • /alerts drawdown warns when the selected account consumes the configured percentage of its Daily Loss or Maximum Drawdown allowance.
  • /alerts liquidation warns when an open position reaches the configured distance from its liquidation price.
  • /alerts fills enables or disables Stop Loss, Take Profit, and liquidation fill messages.
  • /alerts list shows active alerts and DM delivery failures.
  • /alerts remove removes an alert by ID.
  • /alerts test verifies direct messages and re-enables alerts paused after a blocked DM.
If the test cannot reach you, allow direct messages from server members and run it again. Account information is never posted publicly as an alert fallback.
